What students & parents have to say about our tutors
Art was great! He knows the material and was able to teach it to me in a way that I understood. Best tutor on buff tutors!
Ryan exceeded all my expectations! I have had him for a few years now and I always feel like I learn more with Ryan than I do in class! He is very good at explaining what you are learning at the pace you need. I would recommend him to anyone needing assistance in engineering classes especially.
Abbey is super easy to work with and extremely helpful! If it weren't for Abbey's help I wouldn't have done as well as I did in Spanish by the end of the semester. After spending a couple of weeks working with Abbey, I went up two letter grades in Spanish and she really takes the time to make sure you know the ins and outs. I would definitely recommend working with Abbey to anybody in need of some help!
Chayenne has been a fantastic resource for my 9th grade daughter -- they started working together during the fourth quarter of 8th grade, and during that quarter, some summer support and her first semester of 9th grade, she has gained both confidence and a much better understanding of the subject material, and pulled a struggling high C or low B to an A in her advanced math classes. Chayenne is patient and encouraging and made challenging topics much more accessible for my daughter -- I recommend her highly!
Ryan LaCount is an excellent calculus tutor. It is clear that he not only understands how to explain the math, but also how to address student's concerns about specific math challenges. He often provided more than one explanation for a concept without even being asked, which is more than most high school math teachers provide! If you are interested in knowing the "why" behind your math, Ryan will be a great resource.
Sharon is truly an awesome person to work with. She always knows what she is doing and makes time for all of her clients. I would 100 percent reccomend her to anyone struggling in math.
Sharon is an amazing tutor! She comes prepared with worked out examples that you send into her pre-tutor session. They are very well written out and she has really good handwriting (for all of those who can't stand professors who don't know how to write legibly). Rather than just tell you how to do the problems, she explains each step thoroughly and why it is important in order to get the correct answer. Lastly, she is very affordable compared to other tutors.
Aroob is amazing. She is beyond patient and will work through a problem as many times as it takes for you to understand it.
Ryan is an extremely talented but empathetic person. He understands that individuals are different and tailors his approach to tutoring accordingly.
Ryan is awesome! He put everything into perspective and made physics fun. He helped me to progress as a learner and realize that there is always a way to solve a problem! Ryan could not have done a better job.
