What students & parents have to say about our tutors
He was an awesome tutor and helped me pass one of my most difficult courses!
Literally the only reason I was able to pass Economics with an A
This tutor is very useful whenever you're struggling. He can lay out visualizations to portray the big idea behind a concept.
Ryan is awesome! He put everything into perspective and made physics fun. He helped me to progress as a learner and realize that there is always a way to solve a problem! Ryan could not have done a better job.
Sharon is an amazing tutor! She comes prepared with worked out examples that you send into her pre-tutor session. They are very well written out and she has really good handwriting (for all of those who can't stand professors who don't know how to write legibly). Rather than just tell you how to do the problems, she explains each step thoroughly and why it is important in order to get the correct answer. Lastly, she is very affordable compared to other tutors.
Zachary is great at explaining difficult topics in a way that any one could understand. He also is able to relate chemistry concepts to everyday life in a meaningful way.
Abbey is super easy to work with and extremely helpful! If it weren't for Abbey's help I wouldn't have done as well as I did in Spanish by the end of the semester. After spending a couple of weeks working with Abbey, I went up two letter grades in Spanish and she really takes the time to make sure you know the ins and outs. I would definitely recommend working with Abbey to anybody in need of some help!
Art patiently and thoroughly explains material that are confusing or difficult to work out, not just in one way but many. He goes beyond expectations by making sure that success is met, not just in the session with him, but beyond in the classroom and on exams.
Aroob is a super tutor! She has helped my daughter turn her grade in an advanced math class in high school around with excellent advice, practical work for her to do to get a stronger grasp on the material, and she is friendly, 100% appropriate, and is amazing with helping to build my daughter's overall confidence. We have recommended to her friends who have also had great results. We all really like her so much!
Paul is straight to the point with each problem & task, regardless of difficulty or your experience, he will make sure you get it. In the several decades worth of struggles i've had with math (i'm an older student), i've never had someone as helpful as him. He doesn't waste time with ambiguous analogies or force you to guess for 5-10 minutes at a time what is going on with misleading questions, he is very blunt and straight to the point with what each problem is "doing" in the real world or with physical analogies. This is the first person i've interacted with in my life who has adequately and unambiguously explained to me what algebra actually "does" beyond letters and numbers, as is unfortunately taken for granted by most college and high school instructors.
