Originally from Mukilteo, Lucas holds a BA in Anthropology and French and a MA in "Learning and Development in Multilingual and Multicultural Contexts" from the University of Luxembourg. He lived in Chile, France and Luxembourg for 5 years where he taught and tutored all levels of English (ESL). While living abroad Lucas became fluent in French, proficient in Spanish and studied several others. Lucas has a deep knowledge of both spoken informal and written academic/professional French. He has several years of experience in the corporate translation industry too but is making a career change to become a French teacher. Lucas looks forward to helping students in the Seattle area improve their French, English or Spanish skills at any level. Currently he is also tutoring elementary school level reading and math for immigrant communities in Lynnwood and Lake City....

Erin is a 5th year undergraduate student at Colorado State University working towards two Bachelors degrees, one in Equine Science and the other in Human Development and Family Studies, with plans to go to graduate school and get a Masters in Occupational Therapy. She has always been passionate about academics and was a tutor for one year at the Academic Advancement Center at CSU. There, she provided tutoring for students that identified as first generation, low income, or as having a disability. She was promoted the following year to become the tutor coordinator, during which she was responsible for scheduling all tutoring sessions, providing evaluations of the tutors, and running trainings on effective tutoring practice. Through these trainings, she became a Level 1 certified tutor through the CRLA, the College Reading and Learning Association.
