Experience

Ben is specialized in chemistry but has a wide range of knowledge and over 6 years of professional tutoring experience. He received his B.S. in Chemical Engineering from Rensselaer Polytechnic Institute in 2015 graduating Magna Cum Laude, his M.S. in Chemical Engineering from the University of Colorado Boulder in 2017 and is currently a PhD student in the Anseth Research Group. He has served as a graduate teaching assistant (TA) for both CHEM 1211 (General Chemistry for Engineers) and CHEN 4810 (Senior Chemical and Biological Engineering Laboratory) at CU Boulder. He was previously employed by Cardinal Scholars LLC as a chemistry tutor. He has worked with many students individually to address gaps in knowledge and tailor sessions for exam performance. He enjoys teaching and is enthusiastic about helping students fundamentally understand concepts.
