What students & parents have to say about our tutors
Ashkan was very well organized with time and managed to help me understand the subject clearly. If it weren’t for him, I’d fail the class.
Ryan is awesome! He put everything into perspective and made physics fun. He helped me to progress as a learner and realize that there is always a way to solve a problem! Ryan could not have done a better job.
Sharon is an amazing tutor! She comes prepared with worked out examples that you send into her pre-tutor session. They are very well written out and she has really good handwriting (for all of those who can't stand professors who don't know how to write legibly). Rather than just tell you how to do the problems, she explains each step thoroughly and why it is important in order to get the correct answer. Lastly, she is very affordable compared to other tutors.
Great tutor. I would definitely recommend Chayenne. She helped me with calculus systems and modeling (Math 1310), which is pretty much Calc 1, and she saved me from failing and I even ended up doing very well in the class. She exceeded all expectations!
Ryan was a great tutor! He was very comfortable with the material I had throughout the semester and helped me learn a lot. He is very thorough in his explanations and makes sure I fully understood the subject.
Chayenne helped our daughter finish her last quarter of 9th grade math strong; she is kind and warm and my daughter likes working with her. She was able to assess where my daughter's skills were coming up short and focus on those to bring her grade up at the end of a tough quarter. I recommend her wholeheartedly.
Andrew is the best tutor I've had. He is kind, smart, professional, and helpful. He was able to teach me in a way that fit with my personal learning style. He works hard to make sure you understand the materials you are learning. He also does a really good job of providing encouragement, when you're feeling bad/nervous about a subject. I would highly recommend him to any of my friends!
William was fantastic! Was willing to meet on pretty short notice (helpful if you're panicking about an exam) and sent some very helpful practice problems when the study guide wasn't enough. Definitely helped my grade a bunch for a class that would've burnt me out quickly.
Kristen was nothing short of fantastic. She was very patient with me, and was able to catch even the smallest of my mistakes. She knew what the course work was trying to get me to do, and showed me how to do it properly without extraneous detail. She is also tremendously friendly, and just a great person in general.
Ryan LaCount is an excellent calculus tutor. It is clear that he not only understands how to explain the math, but also how to address student's concerns about specific math challenges. He often provided more than one explanation for a concept without even being asked, which is more than most high school math teachers provide! If you are interested in knowing the "why" behind your math, Ryan will be a great resource.
